<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inverter driven DC brushless motor and an induction motor reduced in size and improved in long service life. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply circuit 14 of an inverter circuit is provided with the power supply circuit 14 that is composed of a rectifying circuit 10 that generates high-voltage DC power from a commercial power supply 9, and a control power generator 13 that generates a low voltage for an internal control circuit from the rectified high-voltage DC power; an inverter main circuit 15; and an inverter control circuit 16 that controls the inverter main circuit 15. Part of the circuit 14 is put outside the motor, and other parts are accommodated in the motor.
