<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a high-grade image by enhancing light resistance even in a contact hole for electrically connecting pixel electrodes and near the same in an electrooptical apparatus, such as a liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: The electrooptical apparatus 1 has, on a TFT array substrate (10), the transparent pixel electrode (9a), a TFT (30) connected thereto via the contact hole (85), and a capacitor line (300) which is laminated between the pixel electrode and the TFT to cover a channel region of the TFT from above and is notched so as to evade the contact hole when flatly viewed.
