<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat guide system having the function of checking tickets that is capable of checking entry and providing guidance to seats, and a method for checking tickets and providing guidance for seating. <P>SOLUTION: When purchasing a ticket or a reserved-seat ticket, a reservation management system associates travel distance information with train information and sends an electronic ticket to a cell phone terminal.
