PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and inexpensively provide a highly reliable holding means capable of surely holding a piece of paper and the like, in terms of a holder for a sheet and the like fit to temporarily hold the piece of paper such as notepaper and a visiting card in an easily viewable state. SOLUTION: A paper holding method is characterized as follows: an approximately horizontal cut is provided in a holder plate which is vertically set in use; and an angular part, for example, of the piece of paper such as the notepaper is held by being inserted upward into the cut from a downside.
