PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of suppressing the occurrence of an illegal act that cannot be coped with by either an optical detecting means or a contact type detecting means and capable of discriminating the intrusion of a foreign material different in size and shape from a game medium to suppress the occurrence of a fraudulent act by the intrusion of the foreign material. SOLUTION: A medium detecting means 72 is provided with the contact type detecting means 80 and the optical detecting means 90. The game medium is formed in circular longitudinal section. The contact type detecting means 80 is provided with a moving body 81 moving pressed by the game medium moving inside a medium passage 71, and a medium dimension detecting means 82 for detecting the diameter of the game medium based on the moving result of the moving body 81.
