The present invention provides a solid dispersion containing (i) a drug, (ii) carrier(s), (iii) plasticizer(s) and (iV) drug release-controlling component(s). According to the present invention, the solubility of poorly soluble or insoluble drugs can be improved and a drug release-controlling function can be provided simultaneously in a single manufacturing process, and a solid dispersion having a uniform composition and permitting sustained- release of drugs can be provided.
