<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely remove a curl from a recording paper when forming images on a plurality of recording paper sheets continuously. <P>SOLUTION: A paper delivery mechanism 50 provided with a decurling device for removing the curl from the recording paper 12 is provided with a paper delivery tray 56 in the vicinity of a paper delivery port 54, and the recording paper is loaded on the paper delivery tray. A CCD camera 100 is attached to the paper delivey tray through a bracket 102. In the decurling device, a condition of the recording paper delivered by decurling processing is imaged to determine whether the remaining curl exists or not. If there is the remaining curl, decurling amount is corrected based on the curl amount.
