<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display drive apparatus, a display apparatus and a drive control method, by which insufficient writing of display data (a gradation current) due to capacitive component parasitic in data lines is suppressed, a light-emitting element is activated to emit light at an appropriate luminance gradation and the display quality can be improved, in a display apparatus which employs a drive control system of a current application system to apply a gradation current in accordance with the display data to each display pixel constituting a display panel and activating the panel to emit light with a predetermined luminance gradation. <P>SOLUTION: The display apparatus 100 is equipped with a display panel 110 having a plurality of display pixels EM arranged into a matrix form; a scanning driver 100 to set the display elements EM in each raw into a selective state; a signal correction circuit 140 to convert the luminance gradation of the display data to a gradation (driving gradation), corresponding to the gradation characteristics of the display panel 110; and a data driver 130 for supplying a gradation current Ipix according to the corrected display data to each data line DL with a predetermined timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
