<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye for forming a recording layer in a photorecording medium. <P>SOLUTION: In the chemical formula (I) of the dye, n is selected from the group consisting of 0 to 3 integers; B is boron; O is oxygen; X<SB>1</SB>, X<SB>2</SB>are selected from the group consisting of oxygen and fluorine; Y is selected from the group consisting of an alkoxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a benzene ring containing a substituent, a benzene ring containing no substituent and a heterocyclic structure which is jointly formed with Z containing boron, nitrogen, oxygen, sulphur and selenium; Z is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkoxy group, a cyanogen group and a heterocyclic structure which is jointly formed with Y containing boron, nitrogen, oxygen, sulphur and selenium; and R is selected from the group consisting of which are composed of an alkoxy group, an amino group, a benzene ring containing a substituent, a benzene ring containing no substituent and a ferrocenyl group and a heterocyclic structure containing boron, nitrogen, oxygen, sulphur and selenium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
