PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack which is manufactured at a low cost, and constitutes a battery protective electronic circuit of high reliability which is related to a standard electric manual power tool or a standard battery charger. SOLUTION: The battery pack which is fitted to the electric manual power tool 1 or the battery charger 13 as a power consuming side includes a temperature sensor 3 having a negative temperature coefficient, and a thermometric interface 4 which is accessed from the outside, the pack comprises a battery protective logic circuit 6 and an output switching circuit 8 arranged at a feeder line 7 of the battery pack and is constituted so that the battery protective electronic circuit 5 arranged at the electric manual power tool 1 or the battery charger 13 is affected by the thermometric interface 4 wherein an abnormal situation protecting circuit 10 provided at the battery pack is connected in parallel to the analog temperature sensor 3, and when an abnormal situation occurs, total resistance R which is measured from the outside is made to actively decrease via the thermometry interface 4.
