PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spring characteristic that the spring force increases like a secondary curve to the torsion displacement and a damping characteristic in a stabilizer for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A cylindrical spring member 6 is provided on the outer periphery of a torsion spring member 5, one end parts thereof are connected and an arm member 3 is fitted to the end parts. An arm member 4 is fitted to the other end part of the torsion spring 5. The torsion spring member 5 and the cylindrical spring member 6 are connected to each other by an elastic body 7. The cylindrical spring member 6 is rotatably supported on the car body by a support member 12, and the arm members 3, 4 are connected to right and left suspension arms. In an area where the torsion displacement of the arm members 3, 4 is small, small spring force is generated mainly by the displacement of the torsion spring member 5 to absorb vibration, and when the torsion displacement increases, the spring force is increased like a secondary curve by the deformation of the elastic body 7 and the torsion displacement of the cylindrical spring member 6, thereby effectively restraining rolling.
