PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler strip support tool without particularly damming up rainwater, in the filler strip support tool. SOLUTION: In this support tool 1, a filler strip for the clearance between rafters and sheathing roof boards and girders fitting inserting groove 6 is formed in the longitudinal direction in a front part of a plate 2 out of a front plate 3, a rear plate 4 and a bottom plate 5. In the filler strip support tool 1, a chipped part 8 penetrating over a front plate 3 front part of the filler strip for the clearance fitting inserting groove 6 from a rear part, is intermittently formed in a plurality in the longitudinal direction along any of an under surface or an upper surface of the plate 2.
