PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for easily joining the edge of each of a plurality of wall panels to be vertically attached to each other to a corner member in a well workable manner, and to provide a wall panel joint method using the same. SOLUTION: The joint comprises joint members 1A, 1B to be attached to a corner post (a corner member) 30 and to the reverse side edge of each of the wall panels 20, respectively, and a connection member 11 having two vertically long engagement holes 12, 13 lined with which both joint members 1A, 1B engage, respectively. The method using the same for joining the edge of each of the wall panels 20 to the corner post 30 comprises putting the joint member 1A in engagement with the engagement hole 12 of the connection member 11 into the condition of the connection member 11 being temporarily locked to the joint member 1A, putting the joint member 1B attached to the wall panel 20 in engagement with the engagement hole 13 of the connection member 11, and then hammering the connection member 11 at its upper end to push it down until both joint members 1A, 1B are locked to the engagement holes 12, 13 of the connection member 11.
