PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, an image processing method, and a program for obtaining a distortion-free output image from an input image by solving problems of "delay of dot generation" and "trailing". SOLUTION: The image processor is equipped with a converting means of converting input image data into output image data having two or more kinds of gradation values for each pixel, an error diffusing means of diffusing error values generated by the converting means to unconverted pixels through a diffusion matrix, and a correcting means of moving a 2nd specified value among 1st specified values corresponding to 1st unconverted pixels to a 2nd unconverted pixel nearby the pixel under consideration.
