Disclosed herein is a solid water-in-oil emulsion comprising an aqueous phase emulsified in a fatty phase comprising at least one ester oil and at least one wax, and at least one silicone surfactant comprising at least one polyhydroxylated chain or at least one alkyl dimethicone copolyol chosen from C₈-C₂₂ alkyl dimethicone copolyols, as well as a process for making up or caring for skin, comprising applying to the skin the emulsion.
