<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for facilitating release of printing processing and transmission processing on the side of a host computer while realizing a print guarantee by switching when necessary a transmission method of a print job of a plurality of copies of print on the basis of reception situations of the print job on the side of a printer. <P>SOLUTION: In the system, while the print job is stored in the host computer after transmission to the printer, a print job is re-transmitted to the printer in correspondence of a re-transmission request from the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
