<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the switching of delivery servers without interrupting images or wastefully using a line in an image delivery system including a plurality of delivery server for image delivery, a terminal, and a delivery management server receiving requests from the terminal, which are connected to a network. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal comprises a plurality of image receiving parts connected to the plurality of delivery servers to receive images, a reception processing part which selectively processes one image signal from a plurality of pieces of image information and outputs it to a display part, and a line connection control part. The delivery management server comprises a terminal request control part processing a delivery request from the terminal and a delivery server management database. The management server determines a delivery server and issues a delivery instruction to the delivery server. Further, upon detecting generation of a switching factor of delivery server from the state of the delivery server or terminal, the management server switches the present delivery server to a standby system, and another delivery server to the operation system, and generates a switching instruction to the terminal.
