<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of suitably scavenging air during operation stop. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell 10 is fixed to a vehicular floor panel by a pair of brackets 61 and 62. Strain gages 63a and 63b are stuck to both the brackets 61 and 62, respectively; and signals corresponding to the weight of the fuel cell 10 are outputted from the strain gages 63a and 63b to a control device 50. When a weight detection value W obtained from the detection signals of the strain gages 63a and 63b is set below a scavenging stop target value Wtg after starting the scavenging of air, the control device 50 stops a compressor 31 and thereafter stops the scavenging of air by closing a scavenging solenoid valve 32 and a purge valve 24. Thereby, supply of air from an air supply system 30 to the fuel cell 10 is shut off, removal of moisture from the fuel cell 10 is stopped, and an optimum quantity of moisture is left in the fuel cell 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
