摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to realize improvement of fuel consumption by means that impurities accumulated in a circulation channel are selectively exhausted as much as possible and hydrogen amount wastefully exhausted is minimized, while reduction of power generation efficiency caused by elevation of impurity concentration is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel cell system of hydrogen circulation method in which anode exhaust gas exhausted from an anode 1a exit of the fuel cell 1 is made to be circulated to the anode 1a entrance side, an electrochemical hydrogen pump 6 is installed in a circulation channel 5 in which the anode exhaust gas flows, a bypass channel 8 bypassing this electrochemical hydrogen pump 6 is installed, and an ejector 9 is installed at the point of confluence of the circulation channel 5 and a hydrogen supply channel 4.
