<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical apparatus whose grip is equipped with operating switches which are excellent in operability for inputting various functions to the medical devices and peripheral apparatuses, without increasing the size of the grip part. <P>SOLUTION: This endoscope apparatus is provided with an endoscope having a camera head 12 on the grip side.
