<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale character display method wherein a user easily sees a numerical value of scale of a graph even if a value of data changes according to a time lapse. <P>SOLUTION: This scale character display method has steps: for storing a table described with a display period showing a period to an end from a beginning of a temporal axis of the displayed graph and a temporary scale interval corresponding to the display period, and display size of a scale character showing the value of the scale into a storage part; for specifying the temporary scale interval corresponding to the display period by the table when the display period is inputted; for finding a true scale interval by integer-multiplying the specified temporary scale interval such that it becomes the display size or above of the scale character; and for displaying the scale character of time by division in the display period on a display part when dividing a time to end time of the display period from prescribed time more past than start time of the display period by the true scale interval. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
