PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning blade member superior in wear resistance and usable over a prolonged period of time. SOLUTION: The cleaning blade member comprises a polyurethane formed using a polycarbonate diol, a polyisocyanate and a crosslinking agent containing at least one short chain diol selected from among propanediol and butanediol and a triol whose molecular weight is 300-2,500, wherein the polyurethane has a peak temperature of tanδ(1 Hz) of≤5°C.
