<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas diffusion layer having a constitution for promoting discharge of water without decreasing electric conductivity. <P>SOLUTION: This is the gas diffusion layer which has a water-repellent layer containing conductive particles made by coating on a water-repellent agent, and has a gas diffusion base material. As for this gas diffusion layer, the water-repellent agent is uniform in the coating thickness in the water-repellent layer, and the content of the water-repellent agent is larger near the gas outlet part of the water-repellent layer than that near the gas inlet part, thereby the problems are solved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
