PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize for calculating an update time required by memorizing the required time for each road, for the day of the week, or the time of the day to the actual required time. SOLUTION: The navigation system comprises the memory means for memorizing the link data by making the link data corresponding to the link data variation factor, the running history acquisition means for acquiring the running history information by making the running history information corresponding to the link data variation factor, the correction means for correcting the link data by utilizing the running history information, and the correction means for correcting the link data by utilizing the running history data. The correction means selects the running history information to be used corresponding to the number of pieces of the running history information corresponding to the link data variation factor corresponding to the link data being the object of the correction.
