PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide positioning information equipment which has reduced its circuit scale, by enabling reception of a plurality of kinds of signals by integrating the receiving potions of a GPS and a VICS, and has improved the positioning performance of the GPS by detecting a passing position of a VICS apparatus on a road and correcting positioning information of the GPS. SOLUTION: The positioning information equipment is provided with a down converter IC 50 connected to a GPS/VICS unified antenna 1, a light transmitting/receiving portion 17 connected to an optical antenna 2, a coordinate information memory 21 wherein coordinate information of the apparatus on the road has been stored beforehand, and a controller 20. Moreover, the down converter IC 50 has a GPS/VICS change-over switch 6, signals are changed over by the controller 20, and the positioning accuracy of the GPS is improved by VICS information.
