PHYSICAL QUANTITY DETECTING SENSOR AND SENSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physical quantity detecting sensor for making even a small-scaled structure hard to receive the effect due to the outside environment, to prevent the adhesion of a stain.

SOLUTION: The physical quantity detecting sensor is equipped with the sensor head 8 attached to a sensor installed region to measure the physical quantity, the photocatalyst layer 22 formed on the detection surface of the sensor head 8 and an optical element 21 for irradiating the photocatalyst layer 22 with light and has a structure for preventing the adhesion of the stain on the optical detection surface by the photocatalytic action due to the irradiation of the photocatalyst layer 22 with light from the optical element 21.
