<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire for heavy load hardly causing separation at its winding end and excellent in durability. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire for heavy load comprises at least a sheet of carcass ply 1 winded from the inside to the outside and locked around a bead core 3 and a rubber filler 4. The radial tire comprises covering rubber 15 for covering an end part 1c of a winding ply 1b and soft rubber pads 16, 17 softer than the covering rubber 15 for covering both sides of the covering rubber 15 in the tire width direction. A distance a between a normal L drawn from an outer peripheral side face of a body ply 1a to an outer peripheral side end of a rim flange 11 and the end part 1c of the winding ply 1b is made to be shorter than 15mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
