PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system chaning a call tone and automatically generating a different call tone depending on a day of the week. SOLUTION: A master unit of the nurse call system comprises: a setting means for storing music data of seven kinds or over and one kind of music data to a weekday associated with each other; a timer means with a clock function; a reproduction means for reproducing the music data; and a CPU. When the master unit is called from a slave unit, the CPU reads information about the day of the week from the timer means and allows the reproduction means to reproduce the music data associated with the read day of the week.
