PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an input image promptly in a display mode and to apply voltage according to an execution process content in a process mode and in either of the modes, to perform starting control appropriately. SOLUTION: This display apparatus comprising a display panel 1, a row line driver 2 and a column line driver 4 for driving the display panel 1, and a driving power section 3 for supplying power to the drivers, has the display mode (picture-output mode) and the process mode. In the process mode, the voltage according to the execution process content is applied by controlling the driving power section 3 based on a command from outside and in the picture-output mode, the starting control is performed appropriately by displaying the input image promptly by controlling the driving power section 3 based on a predetermined sequence.
