PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive leaf-steaming apparatus needing no setting space, and enabling certain fall in the temperature of steamed leaves before being put to a rolling/drying process down to almost room temperatures. SOLUTION: The steamed leaf treatment apparatus is made of an air-permeable member, and comprises a cylindrical rotary drum provided with an inlet at one end and an outlet at the other end, a hot air supplying means supplying hot air to the inlet side of the rotary drum, and a cool air supplying means supplying cool air to the outlet side of the rotary drum.
