The vehicle brake pedal arrangement for the prevention of injury has a blocking component (9) mounted on the pedal arm (7) of the brake pedal (1) and protruding in the direction of the rear side of the vehicle. A displacement limiting means is incorporated on steering column mounting support (13) to limit a displacement of the blocking component to the rear. The steering column mounting support is fastened and fixed to a trim cross member (11).
