<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve contamination with fingerprints or resolution of a lithographic printing forme in a dry process and to improve plate storing property by scratches after forming an image by employing a new dry finisher process method (specifically a gum process). <P>SOLUTION: In the method for processing a lithographic printing forme, at least a step of an imagewise exposure and the following step of hydrophilic process without accompanying a liquid development are carried out while a photosensitive lithographic printing forme is successively conveyed, and the hydrophilic process is carried out by coating. The hydrophilic process without liquid development includes at least one system selected from a group of (a) melt-heat transfer system, (b) sublimation heat transfer system, (c) ablation transfer system, (d) perforation system and (e) photo-modification system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
