<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for converting waste plastics to oil capable of markedly cutting equipment installation cost and running cost through simplification, efficiency improvement and streamlining. <P>SOLUTION: The system 40 for converting waste plastics to oil comprises separating and crushing equipment 60 functioning to separate and remove metals, vinyl chloride-based resins and PET, each unsuitable to conversion to oil, from the waste plastics to be charged thereinto and thereafter crush the resulting waste plastics, and pyrolyzing equipment 70 functioning to heat and pyrolyze the waste plastics to generate pyrolysis gas and residues. In this system, both kinds of equipments have receiving ports 61 and 71 and discharge ports 62, 72a and 72b, respectively. This system also includes a conveying means 65 directly connecting the discharge port 62 of the separating and crushing equipment 60 and the receiving port 71 of the pyrolyzing equipment 70 with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
