<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater capable of reducing wasteful hot water supply from a hot water storage tank and preventing freezing by passing water. <P>SOLUTION: In this hot water storage type water heater 1 comprising the hot water storage tank 5 for storing the hot water, a water supply pipe 3 for supplying water to the hot water storage tank 5, a heating means 6 for heating the water in the hot water storage tank 5, a hot water supply pipe 8 for supplying the hot water in the hot water storage tank 5, a bypass pipe 9 branched from the water supply pipe 3 and bypassing the hot water storage tank 5, a mixing valve 11 for mixing the hot water from the hot water supply pipe 8 with the water from the bypass pipe 9, a mixing pipe 4 for supplying the hot water mixed by the mixing valve 11, and a temperature detecting means 13 for detecting a temperature of the hot water of the mixing pipe 4, the flow of hot water from the hot water supply pipe 8 is stopped or its flow rate is reduced by the mixing valve 11, and the water flow mainly conducted by the water supply pipe 3, the bypass pipe 9 and the mixing pipe 4 can be selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
