<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable image forming apparatus making appropriate a driving means driving a fixing apparatus and in which apparatus size and cost are small. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a stepping motor driving a paper ejecting roller and a pressure roller of the fixing apparatus which are rotated forward and in reverse, a photoreceptor drum and a DC brushless motor driving a transporting roller and a both sides transporting roller. Output of the stepping motor is connected to the pressure roller of the fixing apparatus 107 through a pendulum gear switching mechanism always rotated in a direction ejecting paper regardless of the forward rotation or the reverse rotation and output of the DC brushless motor is connected to the output of the stepping motor through a one way mechanism in the apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
