<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of suppressing water clogging in a gas flow passage. <P>SOLUTION: This is provided with a solid polyelectrolyte membrane, an anode electrode arranged on both main faces of the solid polyelectrolyte membrane, a cathode electrode, the anode electrode, anode gas diffusion layers arranged in the outside of the respective cathode electrodes, and a cathode gas diffusion layer. Furthermore, this is provided with the anode gas diffusion layer, gas seal materials arranged at respective outer peripheries of cathode gas diffusion layers, the anode gas diffusion layer, and separators 15c which are arranged in respective outsides of gas diffusion layers, and in which a groove-shaped reactant gas flow passage 17c having a corner part 22 is installed in the axial direction of the flow passage.
