PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluoroplastic pipe body enhanced in both of ultraviolet transmissivity and strength (pressure resistance). SOLUTION: The fluoroplastic pipe body 10 is constituted by stretching an original form pipe body 11 formed of a fluoroplastic permitting ultraviolet rays to transmit at a temperature from the glass transition temperature of the fluoroplastic to the melting point thereof. By this constitution, the ultraviolet transmissivity of the fluoroplastic pipe body 10 (stretched pipe body) can be made larger than that of the pipe body (non-stretched pipe body), which is formed into the same shape as the fluoroplastic pipe body 10, using the fluoroplastic and the strength (pressure resistance) of the fluoroplastic pipe body 10 can be also made larger than that of the non-stretched pipe body.
