PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for carrying out color matching of thermosetting powder coatings, free from color separation, excellent in finishing appearance, excellent in coated film performance such as coated film smoothness, specular reflectivity and adhesiveness and capable of readily carrying out color matching and small batch multi-coloring. SOLUTION: The method for carrying out color matching of the thermosetting type powder coating comprises granulating the powder coating to particle diameter in a range suitable for coating by heating the thermosetting type powder coatings at a temperature at which a granulating agent is melted and the raw material colored thermosetting type powder coating is not melted by using a colored or transparent thermosetting powder coating granulating agent which is lower by≥5°C than melting point of the raw material colored thermosetting type powder coating.
