PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a derricking clamp having a novel and simple configuration and high degree of safety and enabling easy operation. SOLUTION: This derricking clamp 1 is composed of a clamp main body 2 provided with a suspension hole 24 in an upper end part and a lower end forward extension part 23 and a receiving metal unit 3 turning around a fulcrum 25 provided at a tip of the lower end forward extension part of the clamp main body and formed by forming a substantially right angle by a side face part 31 and a bottom face part 32. Since a rotation fulcrum of the receiving metal unit is positioned on an outer side by a predetermined distance A from a vertical line X passing through the center of the suspension hole when hanging the clamp main body through the suspension hole, the receiving metal unit rotates automatically around the rotation fulcrum due to self-weight of a coil-like workpiece W to pull up the coil-like workpiece and convey it in a substantially stand-up state.
