PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow packaging machine for center sealing even when a film width is not larger than the total of a merchandise peripheral length and 40 mm, which can stably realize good package finishing. SOLUTION: This pillow packaging machine is provided with a transfer means 12 for transferring an item 11 to be packaged, a packaging film supplying means for supplying a packaging film 13 from the upper side of the item, a film end guide means 15 for holding both ends of the film supplied to guide them to the underneath of both sides of the transfer means, a triangle guide plate 16 for moving the item whose top is covered with the film, a pair of bag making belts 17 positioned on both sides of the guide plate, a center seal roll 18 for mutually pressure bonding the belts in front of the guide plate, and a guide roll 19 for holding in the two ends 13a of the film 13 sticking out underneath from the belts 17 in a stretched state.
