PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage checking method of a battery power source, capable of certainly carrying out deployment processing of a squib by an airbag deploying device. SOLUTION: The airbag deploying device 1 sequentially selects a plurality of squibs 2, and supplies igniting voltage to each squib 2, thereby carrying out deployment processing. The airbag deploying device 1 comprises a battery power source 20, a capacitor C for supplying the igniting voltage to the squibs 2; a charging circuit including a boosting circuit 21 boosting the voltage of the battery power source 20, and charging the capacitor C with the boosted voltage; a battery voltage detecting means detecting the voltage of the battery 20; and a controlling circuit 22 actuating the charging circuit upon power-on, inputting a detection value from the battery voltage detecting means, and checking whether battery voltage during operation of the charging circuit obtained by the battery voltage detecting means is not less than predetermined minimum voltage required for deployment processing or not.
