PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel cover for an automobile, capable of deodorizing the interior. SOLUTION: In this steering wheel cover to be installed on a steering wheel of an automobile, a photocatalyst layer is laminated on an outer surface of an outer cover member composing a cover main body. As light such as sunlight incident into the interior is radiated to the surface of the photocatalyst layer, UV-ray included in the light works on the photocatalyst layer to generate electrons and electron holes in the surface of the photocatalyst layer. These react with molecules in odor components in the interior, so that the odor components are decomposed, thereby air inside the car is cleaned. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
