The device has a plate (100) for joining bottoms of bases (10) of two sections of a cable duct. The plate has a central part (110) comprising fittings (114,115) that are fixed to a support plane. The plate is arranged such that a lateral part (120) of the plate is movable with respect to the central part after fixation of the central part to the support plane so that the plate is plated against a raw edge of one of the bases.
