A network comprising wireless communication devices A-F includes a device C which is an administrator which can provide selected devices A,B with identification data, interpretable by each other selected device and the administrator, in order to create a domain 13 of devices which can directly communicate with one another. New domains can be formed by the administrator, even between devices already contained in specified domains e.g. the domain 17 between devices C, B and E. The devices may be mobile telephones, GPRS, a laptop computer and a PDA and resource sharing between the devices in a domain can occur. The devices may communicate via infra red, Bluetooth¹ or other radio means. |
