Door hinge for motor vehicles

The hinge has a door part connectable with a door. A column part forms part of a body and a connected hinge skews with the door and swivels with the column. A clamp provides a friction connection with the hinge and connected to the column. The clamp (5) is springily connected with springs to the column. The friction connection is such that the relationship between static friction and sliding friction lies between 3:1 and 10:1, preferably 5:1 and 10:1. The friction connection is formed by a compression joint.
