Hydrodynamic device for an under water coil element (sic, spulenaufschwimmkorper)(1) with a light wave guide coil (7), the first end of which is connected to an underwater vehicle and the second end to a mobile functional body (8). Element (1) has a hydrodynamically active device (11) which in the rest position is arranged in a hydrodynamically less active position at or in body (1) and is brought into a hydrodynamically more active working position at the point in time of separation of body (1) from body (8).
