PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the frame synchronization method and decoder, where frame synchronization is conducted with a small memory capacity. SOLUTION: A phase comparator 12 detects a deviation between a signal A obtained as a decoded output of the decoder 13 and an external synchronizing signal Reference Video, based on a presentation time stamp PTS being time management information of a decoded output and the external synchronizing signal Reference Video, and a program clock reference PCR is adjusted by a PCR adjustment device 11, depending on the deviation detected by the phase comparator 12 so as to conduct frame synchronization of the signal A. |
