<p>The agricultural baler is equipped with a feeding device (48, 50), supplying the appropriate length of twine to be wound around the bale to be created. The feeding device (48, 50) is connected to the drive (70) with a freewheeling unit (74) causing the parts (48, 50, 70) to engage only in one direction of power transmission. After several rotations the connection is formed when the drive (70) moves in a first direction and the twine is moved towards the baling chamber. A second freewheeling unit (76) creates a connection between the drive (70) and the cutting unit (52), and the twine is cut off by a spiked bar (66).</p> |
