METHOD FOR PREDICTING RESORPTION OF CONTUSION HEMOPHTHALM

The method for predicting the resorption of the contusion hemophthalm comprises sampling the peripheral blood, isolating leukocyte-lymphocyte mixture, dividing the samples into experimental and control specimens. To the control specimen the saline solution is added, while to the experimental specimen the antigen of the vitreous body is added. E-rosettes generated by "active" lymphocytes are assessed. The difference between the percentage of the active rosette-forming lymphocytes in the experimental and control specimens is indicative of the possibility for the resorption of the contusion hemophthalm.
