The proposed door unit of a room screened from electromagnetic radiation contains a frame, a metallic door panel, a door lock, and metallic resilient sealing gasket. The sealing gasket is fixed along the perimeter of the frame between the door panel and the frame and ensures the screening of the gap between the panel and the frame when the door is closed. The door panel is fixed to the frame by hinges that allow the panel to be rotated.
